Silver Dragon Restaurant, the iconic Chinese restaurant in downtown Toronto, opened in its current location in January 1988. Jay and Lily Li own and operate both Silver Dragon Restaurant and Silver Dragon Express where they enjoy making their customers happy with their delicious dishes whose origins stem from northern China.

Jay Li studied Chinese culinary arts and apprenticed for several years to perfect his abilities. When he came to Canada, he spent several years building his skills by working with the top Chinese cuisine chefs in Canada.

 

Silver Dragon's dishes feature flavorful fresh-cut meats, crisp vegetables, and homemade sauces. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite, which is why Silver Dragon is included in the “Top 100 Overall Best Chinese Restaurants in North America” six times, and downtown Toronto's Magazine’s “Favorite Local Chinese Restaurant” for the last six years. Both Silver Dragon Restaurant and Silver Dragon Express serve lunch and dinner and offer takeout and delivery.
